QA Developer- Manual & Automation Testing

About the Role

**Job Overview** We are looking for a motivated and detail\-oriented QA Developer to join our team, with a focus on both manual and automation testing. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers and candidates with 0–1 year of experience who are eager to build their careers in software quality assurance. The candidate will help ensure our applications are reliable, user\-friendly, and meet quality standards by identifying defects and supporting effective test automation. **Key Responsibilities – Manual Testing** * Understand business and technical requirements and identify test scenarios. * Prepare, review, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios. * Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and exploratory testing. * Test web applications across browsers, devices, and screen sizes. * Identify, document, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps and evidence. * Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing to prevent reoccurrence. * Maintain test documentation and communicate testing progress and results. **Key Responsibilities – Automation Testing** * Learn, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications. * Use tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to automate repetitive test cases. * Support the creation and maintenance of automation test suites and frameworks. * Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report failures or defects. * Work with developers to investigate automation failures and improve test reliability. * Contribute to integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines as skills develop. **API \& Database Testing** * Perform basic API testing using Postman and validate request/response data. * Write basic SQL queries to verify database records and data integrity. **Required Skills** * Basic understanding of manual testing concepts, test case design, and defect life cycle. * Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). * Basic knowledge of automation testing concepts and willingness to learn automation tools. * Familiarity with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is an advantage. * Basic knowledge of any programming language such as Java, JavaScript, or Python. * Basic understanding of API testing, Postman, SQL, and web applications is preferred. * Familiarity with Jira or other bug\-tracking tools is a plus. * Strong analytical, problem\-solving, communication, and attention\-to\-detail skills. **Eligibility Criteria** * Freshers and candidates with 0–1 year of experience are encouraged to apply. * Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical knowledge. * Academic projects, internships, or certifications in manual or automation testing are an advantage. * Must be willing to work on\-site from the office.
