Our platform powers customer experience for leading brands such as BigBasket, Star Health Insurance, Allianz, Airtel, Lenskart, and several others.**Role Overview** ----------------- As a **Software Development Engineer in Test / QA** , you will be responsible for Develop and maintain automated tests for APIs, backend services, and chatbot/voice bot flows, while designing functional, regression, and edge\-case scenarios. Validate REST APIs, integrations, data integrity, and bot behaviour, and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines. Track and verify defects with development teams, support performance testing, and maintain test documentation and QA processes.**Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ * Write and maintain automated tests for APIs, backend services, and bot conversation flows. * Design test cases from product requirements, covering functional, regression, and edge cases. * Test REST APIs with Postman or code\-based frameworks; validate responses, error handling, and data integrity. * Test chatbot and voice bot behaviour: intent handling, conversation flows, and client system integrations. * Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines so issues are caught early. * Log, track, and verify bugs clearly, working with developers until resolution. * Support performance and load testing under guidance. * Maintain test documentation and help improve QA processes. **What We're Looking For** -------------------------- * B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field. * Good programming fundamentals in at least one language (Python or Java preferred). * Understanding of testing concepts: test case design, SDLC/STLC, and types of testing. * Basic knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP, and JSON. * Familiarity with Git and basic Linux commands. * Basic SQL for data validation. * Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and clear written communication. ### **Good to Have** * Exposure to automation frameworks such as Pytest, TestNG, Selenium, Playwright, or RestAssured. * Familiarity with CI tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions. * Exposure to load testing tools such as JMeter, Locust, or k6\. * Interest in AI/LLM products, chatbots, or voice technologies. * Internship, college project, or GitHub work related to testing or automation. **What Success Looks Like** --------------------------- * Hands\-on experience testing production AI products used by large enterprises. * Mentorship from experienced backend and QA engineers. * A clear growth path toward senior SDET or backend roles. * A fast\-paced, learning\-focused environment.
