Senior Next.js Engineer **Location:** Koramangala, Bangalore **Work Mode:** In\-Office **Employment Type:** Full\-Time, Permanent **Industry:** SaaS / Software Product **Department:** Engineering – Software \& QA **Experience: 8–10\+ years** About the Role We are looking for a **Senior Next.js Engineer** with deep expertise in **React, Next.js and TypeScript** to take ownership of the front\-end architecture of a high\-scale SaaS platform serving **100,000\+ creators**. This is a hands\-on engineering role focused on **performance, scalability, architecture and daily product delivery**. You will work in an AI\-first engineering environment where tools such as Claude Code, Cursor and Copilot are integrated into the development workflow. Key Responsibilities * Architect and scale **Next.js applications** supporting high concurrent traffic. * Build fast, reliable and scalable front\-end experiences. * Own front\-end performance, including **Core Web Vitals, rendering and sub\-second page loads**. * Develop and deliver features from **concept through production**. * Write clean, maintainable and type\-safe **TypeScript**. * Review both developer\-written and AI\-generated code. * Collaborate with **Product Managers and Designers** through AI\-enabled workflows. * Continuously improve front\-end architecture, performance and development practices. Required Qualifications * **8–10\+ years** of front\-end development experience. * **3–5\+ years** of hands\-on production experience with **Next.js at scale**. * Strong expertise in: * React * TypeScript * CSS architecture * Front\-end build tooling * Performance optimization * Strong experience with Next.js: * SSR / ISR * App Router * Middleware * API Routes * Experience deploying and scaling Next.js applications using platforms such as **AWS, GCP, Cloudflare or self\-hosted infrastructure**. * Demonstrated experience delivering measurable **B2C performance improvements at scale**. * Strong TypeScript fundamentals, including **strict typing, generics, utility types and type\-safe APIs**. Nice to Have * Experience with AI coding tools such as **Claude Code, Cursor or GitHub Copilot**. * Experience with **A/B testing infrastructure** in Next.js. * Exposure to **Mobile / React Native** development.
