About the Role

About the Role We are looking for a **technically strong, passionate, and highly motivated Automation \& AI Engineer** who is excited about using technology to fundamentally improve how a business operates. We have a large number of workflows across operations, reservations, customer communication, accounting, reporting, marketing, property management, and other business functions. Many of these workflows involve multiple systems and repetitive manual processes. Our goal is to **build intelligent, cloud\-based agents and automated workflows that can handle these processes with minimal human intervention.** This is not a traditional IT support or data\-entry role. We are looking for someone who **loves building things**, understands technology deeply, and is constantly thinking: “Why are we doing this manually? Can we automate it?” You will work closely with management to identify repetitive and inefficient workflows, design solutions, build automations, connect different systems, and continuously improve the technology infrastructure. Key ResponsibilitiesAI Agents \& Workflow Automation * Design, build, test, and deploy **AI\-powered agents and automated workflows**. * Identify repetitive manual processes that can be automated. * Build workflows that allow AI agents to take actions across multiple business systems. * Develop systems for task routing, decision\-making, notifications, follow\-ups, data processing, and reporting. * Continuously identify opportunities to eliminate manual work. Cloud \& Technology * Build and manage automation infrastructure in the **cloud**. * Work with APIs, webhooks, databases, cloud services, and third\-party integrations. * Connect platforms and applications so that information flows automatically between systems. * Develop reliable systems that can operate continuously with appropriate monitoring and error handling. * Maintain documentation of workflows, integrations, APIs, and system architecture. Business Process Automation You will work across different areas of the business, including: * Reservations and booking workflows * Guest/customer communication * Property management * Accounting and financial workflows * Reporting and dashboards * Marketing workflows * Internal employee workflows * Data collection and analysis * Notifications and follow\-ups * Quality\-control processes The expectation is not simply to automate individual tasks, but to **understand the entire workflow and determine how technology can improve it end\-to\-end.** Technical Skills Candidates should have strong technical fundamentals and experience with several of the following: * Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript * REST APIs and API integrations * Webhooks * JSON and data structures * SQL/databases * Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud * AI/LLM APIs * AI agents and agentic workflows * Workflow automation platforms * Authentication/OAuth * Git/GitHub * Web services and backend development * Automation testing and debugging * Logging, monitoring, and error handling Experience with tools such as **OpenAI, Claude, LangChain, LangGraph, n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar automation/agent platforms** is a plus. Experience building systems that interact with multiple third\-party applications through APIs is particularly valuable. What We Are Looking For The most important qualification is **technical ability combined with curiosity and initiative.** We want someone who: * Is genuinely passionate about technology and automation. * Enjoys solving complicated problems. * Learns new technologies quickly. * Is comfortable figuring things out independently. * Doesn't need to be given every step of a solution. * Looks for opportunities to automate rather than manually perform repetitive work. * Thinks in terms of systems and workflows. * Can take an idea from **concept → architecture → development → testing → deployment**. * Is comfortable working with imperfect or changing requirements. * Has strong attention to detail. * Is persistent when troubleshooting technical problems. * Takes ownership of projects from beginning to end. **You should be the type of person who sees a repetitive 20\-step process and immediately starts thinking about how to turn it into a 2\-step process—or eliminate it entirely.** Education **Bachelor's degree in Technology/Engineering or a related technical field is required**, such as: * Computer Science * Information Technology * Software Engineering * Computer Engineering * Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning * Electronics \& Communication Engineering * Other relevant technical disciplines Experience * **2–5\+ years of relevant technical experience** preferred. * Demonstrated experience building automations, software, integrations, or AI\-powered workflows. * Candidates with strong personal projects, GitHub projects, or demonstrated technical work may also be considered. Work Environment \& Schedule This is a **fully remote position**, but the candidate must be available during **U.S. business hours / U.S. night shift from India**. Required: * Ability to work the U.S. night shift consistently. * **Camera\-on Zoom during working hours.** * You will remain connected to the team through Zoom throughout your shift. * Reliable high\-speed internet. * Quiet, professional workspace. * Dedicated computer capable of handling development and multiple applications. * Ability to work with **2–3 monitors** is strongly preferred. * Must be responsive and available during working hours. The role requires close collaboration with management and the operations team, so strong communication and responsiveness are essential.
