Software Tester

About the Role

We are looking for a detail\-oriented and proactive Software Tester / QA Tester to join our IT team. This role is an onsite, full\-time role. The candidate will be responsible for testing web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and software features to ensure they are reliable, user\-friendly, secure, and meet the required business and technical specifications. The ideal candidate should have good analytical and problem\-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify, document, and communicate software defects effectively. **Our Preferences** * B.E. / B.Tech / BCA / B.Sc. in CS, IT or a related field. * Minimum 3 years preferred * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Willingness to learn new technologies and testing tools. * Woman who wants to restart their career. **Required Skills** * Understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC. * Ability to write clear and structured test cases. * Good bug identification and reporting skills. * Experience with Postman/API testing and SQL/database testing. * Good analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Strong attention to detail. **Responsibilities** * Understand software requirements, specifications, and business workflows. * Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test checklists. * Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and usability testing. * Test REST APIs using tools such as Postman. * Verify database data when required using basic SQL queries. * Work closely with developers and the IT team to investigate and resolve issues.
