Technical Bangalore, India Contract **Job Title:** Quality Analyst **Job Purpose:** The Quality Analyst, reporting to the QA Lead, is a vital member of theTesting Team specializing in manual testing and test automation. With expertisein creating and executing comprehensive test plans for diverse projects, theycontribute to software quality assurance, defect identification, and continuousprocess improvement, ensuring the success of testing initiatives. **Qualification:** B.E. / B. Tech / MCA / MCS **Certification:** ISTQB **Experience:** 3 \- 5 Years **Responsibilities:** * Create test data and identify environment needs for medium to high complex projects * Ensure software quality via continuous and iterative testing approach * Execute test cases with the Functional, Mobile or Web services automation framework * Create automation scripts that support continuous Integration / Continuous delivery pipeline * Decompose business requirement to be able to write effective automate test scripts of medium to high complex projects to meet acceptance criteria * Collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver the high\-quality deliverables * Apply test lifecycle management principles in the context of a product * Provide Input and report on Test Metrics * Possess technical competency to interact with application developers to ensure software quality. **Mandatory:** * 3\+ years of experience in Software Testing (Manual and/or Automation)· * 2\+ years of experience working across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)· * 1\+ year of experience working in Agile Scrum methodology· * Experience in Functional, Integration, System, Regression, Smoke, and Sanity Testing· * Basic experience in API/Web Services Testing using tools such as Postman, SOAPUI, or ReadyAPI· * Basic experience in Automation Testing using any open\-source automation framework (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)· * Experience in testing Microservices\-based applications· * Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and HTTP methods· * Experience in defect management and test management processes· * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem\-solving skills· * Good understanding of software testing methodologies, testing techniques, and QA best practices· * Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within cross\-functional teams. * Nice to have: + Experience in Web and Mobile Application Testing + Exposure to CI/CD pipelines + Knowledge of Performance or Security Testing concepts + Experience working in cloud\-based environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage ‍ * Excellent verbal communication skills.· * Strong problem solving and analytical skills.· * Ability to pay attention to details \& troubleshoot the problems
