WordPress & Shopify Designer / Developer

About the Role

* Design and develop professional websites using **WordPress \& Shopify** * Work with **Elementor, Gutenberg, WooCommerce, Shopify Themes \& Liquid** * Customize themes, sections, layouts, headers, footers and product pages * Create responsive designs for desktop, tablet and mobile * Build and customize eCommerce stores * Handle basic **HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Liquid** * Integrate forms, payment gateways, WhatsApp, shipping, tracking and third\-party apps/plugins * Troubleshoot WordPress plugins, theme conflicts and Shopify issues * Improve website speed, UX and basic SEO structure * Convert Figma/design references into working websites * Create landing pages and promotional sections * Coordinate with SEO, marketing and content teams * Maintain existing client websites and implement changes AI Skills — Important Candidate should have practical knowledge of AI tools such as: * **ChatGPT** * **Claude** * **Google Gemini** * **Cursor / AI coding tools** * **Antigravity or similar AI development tools** * AI image\-generation/design tools * AI tools for content, SEO and website research They should know how to use AI for: * Generating and debugging HTML/CSS/JS/Liquid/PHP * Troubleshooting WordPress \& Shopify problems * Creating website content and product descriptions * Generating design ideas and layouts * Creating image/design concepts * Finding solutions faster * Reviewing and improving existing code * Automating repetitive website tasks **Important:** We are not looking for someone who simply copies AI\-generated code. The candidate should understand the code and be able to verify, modify and implement it correctly.
