Network Engineer

About the Role

**Job Overview** We are looking for a skilled Networking Engineer with at least 1 year of hands\-on experience in network installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking protocols. **Key Responsibilities** * Install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and Wi\-Fi networks. * Monitor network performance and ensure system availability. * Troubleshoot network\-related issues and provide timely resolutions. * Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and access points. * Manage network security, including antivirus, firewalls, and access control. * Perform regular backups and update network documentation. * Support end\-users for network and connectivity issues. * Coordinate with vendors for hardware and service requirements. **Required Skills** * Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, and subnetting. * Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and access points. * Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux (added advantage). * Ability to troubleshoot system and network problems quickly. * Familiarity with antivirus installation and network security practices. * Good communication and customer\-handling skills. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. * Minimum 1 year of experience in networking or system administration. * Certifications like CCNA / CompTIA Network\+ are an added advantage.
