Location: Pune Employment Type: full\-time ### **Job Details** ### **Job Summary** We are looking for a Principal Software engineer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and supporting scalable, secure, and high\-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have deep hands\-on experience across the **Microsoft .NET ecosystem**, including C\#, .NET Core/.NET 6/8\+, ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework, Angular, and SQL Server, along with strong exposure to **Azure cloud, microservices, event\-driven architecture, and modern application development practices**. The role requires a hands\-on technical leader who can work closely with business stakeholders, drive technical solutions, mentor engineers, improve engineering practices, and leverage **AI\-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot** to improve productivity and software quality. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high\-performance applications using **C\#, .NET Core/.NET 6/8\+, ASP.NET Web API and Angular**. * Design and implement **microservices and event\-driven architectures** using modern design patterns and engineering practices. * Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services for performance, scalability, and reliability. * Drive **application modernization and migration to Microsoft Azure**. * Work with Azure services and cloud\-native architecture to build reliable enterprise solutions. * Design and optimize database solutions using **SQL Server**, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and related technologies. * Work with messaging technologies such as **RabbitMQ** and caching solutions such as Redis. * Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, and SMEs to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. * Conduct code reviews and establish standards around **SOLID principles, design patterns, clean code, security, and performance**. * Drive automated testing, including **unit, integration, and test automation**, and promote TDD practices where appropriate. * Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root\-cause analysis and long\-term resolution. * Leverage **GitHub Copilot and other AI\-assisted development tools** for code analysis, refactoring, test generation, debugging, and requirement analysis, while ensuring appropriate validation for quality, security, and performance. * Mentor and guide developers and support technical capability building within the team. * Contribute to CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps practices to improve delivery efficiency and release quality. * Monitor application health and performance using tools such as **Dynatrace** and drive continuous improvements. * Prepare technical documentation and contribute to architecture and solution design discussions.
