**Senior PHP Developer** **Job Title:** Senior PHP Developer **Experience:** 4–7\+ Years **Employment Type:** Full\-Time **Location:** Bhopal Job Summary We are looking for an experienced **Senior PHP Developer** to design, develop, maintain, and optimize scalable web applications and backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP, modern frameworks, database management, API development, and software development best practices. Key Responsibilities * Develop, maintain, and optimize **web applications using PHP**. * Work with frameworks such as **Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony**. * Design and develop **RESTful APIs** and integrate third\-party APIs. * Develop clean, scalable, reusable, and secure code. * Work with **MySQL/PostgreSQL** databases, including database design, queries, indexing, and optimization. * Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and production bugs. * Implement authentication, authorization, data validation, and other security best practices. * Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and project managers. * Perform **code reviews** and maintain coding standards. * Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. * Participate in technical discussions and contribute to system architecture and design decisions. * Write and maintain technical documentation. * Mentor junior developers and support the team in resolving complex technical issues. Required Skills * Strong proficiency in **PHP 7/8\+**. * Hands\-on experience with **Laravel** or other PHP frameworks. * Strong knowledge of **OOP, MVC architecture, and design patterns**. * Good understanding of **HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX**. * Strong experience with **MySQL/PostgreSQL**. * Experience developing and consuming **REST APIs**. * Knowledge of **Git/GitHub/GitLab**. * Understanding of web security concepts such as authentication, authorization, SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF. * Good debugging and problem\-solving skills. * Experience with **Linux/server environments** is preferred. * Knowledge of **Docker, CI/CD, AWS, or cloud platforms** is an added advantage. Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in **Computer Science, IT, Engineering**, or a related field. * Experience working on large\-scale or enterprise applications. * Knowledge of Redis, queues, caching, Elasticsearch, or microservices is a plus. * Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
