The candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, maintaining, and improving web applications using Java and modern front\-end technologies. Testing Engineer **Job Title:** Testing Engineer / QA Engineer **Employment Type:** Full\-Time **Experience:** Freshers / 0–3 Years **Location:** Chennai / As per company requirement Job Summary We are looking for a detail\-oriented **Testing Engineer** to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. The candidate will work closely with developers and project teams to identify defects and ensure applications meet functional and business requirements. Key Responsibilities * Understand software requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases. * Perform **functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing**. * Identify, document, and track software defects. * Re\-test defects after fixes and verify successful resolution. * Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation. * Collaborate with developers and business teams to resolve application issues. * Perform API testing and basic database validation where required. * Participate in application releases and quality\-assurance activities. * Support continuous improvement of software testing processes. Required Skills * Good understanding of **Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)**. * Knowledge of **SDLC and software development processes**. * Understanding of manual testing concepts and test\-case preparation. * Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as Jira or similar tools. * Basic knowledge of **SQL and database testing**. * Basic understanding of API testing tools such as Postman is an advantage. * Good analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
