About the Role

As a YouTube manager at Budding Mariners, you will be responsible for managing and growing our YouTube channel through content planning, video production, editing, graphics, marketing, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of YouTube, video editing, graphic design, YouTube analytics, video marketing, and content creation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement effective YouTube strategies to increase views, subscribers, engagement, and overall channel growth. 2. Plan and manage YouTube content, including video ideas, titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and upload schedules. 3. Handle video shooting, videography, and video editing for YouTube videos and Shorts. 4. Create or coordinate graphics, thumbnails, text overlays, and other visual content for videos. 5. Conduct market and competitor research to identify trending topics and content opportunities. 6. Monitor and analyze YouTube statistics such as views, watch time, CTR, audience retention, engagement, and subscriber growth. 7. Use analytics to understand what content is performing well and suggest strategies for improving future videos. 8. Coordinate with the content, teaching, and marketing teams for video planning and production. 9. Optimize videos using YouTube SEO, keywords, tags, titles, descriptions, and thumbnails. 10. Stay updated with YouTube trends, algorithm changes, and new content formats.
