With more than 3,000 employees serving over 200 companies worldwide, we are following our mission of revolutionizing the way IT is deployed. **Job Overview** ---------------- Role summary Owns API and service\-layer development for product features, including integration with orchestrator services; owns the Central Orchestrator refactor and extraction — decoupling from dependent services, independent deployability, and horizontally scalable design; owns the HITL Review Framework and AI Security and Trust Layer, covering prompt injection protection, data leakage prevention, content filtering, and policy enforcement; and owns the client's risk\-and\-lessons\-learned system API contract, source grounding and citation pipelines, and advancement of that workflow to launch position. Key responsibilities * Develop and maintain APIs and service\-layer integration for product features * Integrate product services with the platform orchestrator * Build artifact generation and export endpoints for the Governance Content and Artifact Suite * Refactor and extract the Central Orchestrator as an independent module * Decouple the orchestrator from dependent services and ensure independent deployability * Design for horizontal scalability * Make agent routing logic testable in isolation * Build the Human\-in\-the\-Loop (HITL) Review Framework * Implement prompt\-injection protection and data\-leakage prevention controls * Implement content\-filtering and policy\-enforcement controls * Build and maintain the client's risk\-and\-lessons\-learned system API contract * Build source\-grounding and citation pipelines * Advance the client's risk and lessons\-learned workflow to launch position Required skills \& experience * 5\+ years Python API development experience * Experience integrating services with a central orchestrator or comparable routing layer * Experience building document / artifact generation and export endpoints * Solid REST API design skills * Senior\-level Python engineer with strong system design skills * Hands\-on FastAPI and LangGraph experience * Proven experience decoupling monolithic orchestration logic into modular, independently deployable services * 5\+ years backend engineering experience with a security / trust\-and\-safety focus * Experience with content\-filtering or policy\-enforcement engines * Familiarity with human\-in\-the\-loop review workflow design and prompt\-injection defenses * Strong Python skills * 3\+ years data engineering experience with API integration and pipeline design * Experience with source\-grounding / citation pipeline design * Experience with risk\-management or lessons\-learned enterprise workflow data a plus Preferred qualifications * Experience with document templating/export libraries * Familiarity with FastAPI * Experience extracting a monolithic orchestrator into a standalone, horizontally scalable service under live delivery pressure * Experience with isolated/unit\-testable routing\-logic design * Experience securing an LLM\-facing application specifically against prompt injection * Familiarity with client\-style security sign\-off processes * Direct experience inheriting and advancing a partially\-built pipeline to production launch position * Citation/source\-attribution pipeline experience Education B.Tech/BCA/MCA in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. **Compensation** ---------------- Estimated Pay Range: Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job\-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location. **Our Commitment to Diversity \& Inclusion** -------------------------------------------- *At Milestone we strive to create a workplace that reflects the communities we serve and work with, where we all feel empowered to bring our full, authentic selves to work.
