About the Role

**Job Title**: Java Spring Boot Developer (Contract) **Experience Required**: 3\+ Years **Location Requirement**: Tamil Nadu or Bangalore (Bengaluru) only **Contract Duration**: 6 Months **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Java Spring Boot Developer for a 6\-month contract role. The candidate must be based in Tamil Nadu or Bangalore to collaborate effectively with our engineering team. You will be responsible for developing high\-performance RESTful web services, building scalable microservices, and integrating back\-end logic with database systems. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain robust microservices and web applications using Java and Spring Boot. * Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and well\-tested code following best practices. * Build and integrate RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous messaging services. * Collaborate with database engineers to design, optimize, and execute SQL/NoSQL queries. * Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily Agile stand\-ups. * Identify performance bottlenecks, debug issues, and deploy timely fixes. **Required Qualifications** * Minimum 3 years of hands\-on software development experience using Java 8 or higher. * Core expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring MVC, and Spring Security. * Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). * Solid understanding of REST API design principles and microservices architecture. * Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle and version control using Git. * Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito. **Preferred Skills** * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). * Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes. * Familiarity with message brokers such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ. * Hands\-on exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI). **Work Location \& Terms** * Candidates must currently reside in Tamil Nadu or Bangalore. * Work setup: Hybrid / Remote (depending on project requirements, restricted to specified regions). * Engagement: 6\-Month Contract.
