About the Role

Platform Engineer III Bengaluru, Karnataka **Job Summary** --------------- This is a hands\-on, customer\-facing role at the intersection of software engineering, frontier AI, enterprise architecture, developer experience and engineering transformation. You will move between executive and engineering conversations \- demonstrating Codex, shaping enterprise architectures, prototyping agentic workflows and helping customers deploy AI\-assisted and increasingly autonomous software engineering safely at scale. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ * Lead Codex adoption: deliver production\-relevant demonstrations, technical discovery, workshops, proofs of concept and executive briefings across enterprise engineering organizations. * Design agentic SDLC solutions spanning discovery, requirements, architecture, development, testing, modernization, deployment and operations. * Prototype specialized agents and multi\-agent workflows; define context, memory, tools, permissions, human\-in\-the\-loop controls and appropriate autonomy levels. * Architect secure integrations across GitHub, CI/CD and DevOps platforms, AWS/Azure, APIs, identity, observability, ITSM and enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce and ServiceNow. * Establish governance for AI\-generated code and agents, including access control, data protection, auditability, approval gates, secure coding and deployment controls. * Quantify value using KPIs such as developer throughput, cycle time, deployment frequency, quality, modernization velocity, cost per outcome and developer experience. * Improve model performance and economics through context engineering, reusable skills, prompts, templates, repository instructions, retrieval and tool\-selection patterns. * Enable governed citizen development by creating reusable patterns, guardrails and collaboration models for business and technology teams. **Skill Requirements** ---------------------- * A meaningful Codex or frontier\-model\-assisted engineering implementation * An agentic workflow that goes beyond simple code generation * Integration with source control, CI/CD, cloud or enterprise systems * Quantified productivity, quality, cost or modernization outcomes * Governance patterns for AI\-generated code and supervised or autonomous agents * AI\-assisted modernization of an existing or legacy application **Other Requirements** ---------------------- 8\+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, developer platforms or engineering transformation, including recent hands\-on generative AI work. Candidates should bring experience with: * OpenAI Codex and APIs, frontier models and agentic workflows * GitHub, source control, CI/CD, DevOps and automated quality engineering * AWS and/or Azure, modern application and API architectures * Enterprise security, identity, governance and software supply\-chain controls * Enterprise applications or integration environments; SAP, Oracle, Salesforce or ServiceNow experience is highly desirable
