About the Role

**Job Title:** Software Engineer – .NET **Experience:** 0–2 Years **Location:** Kochi (Work From Office) **Job Summary** We are looking for a **Software Engineer – .NET** with 0–2 years of experience to join our development team. The candidate will be involved in developing, maintaining, and supporting web applications using **C\# and .NET technologies**. The ideal candidate should have a good foundation in programming, strong problem\-solving skills, and a willingness to learn and work with modern development practices. Backend Development * Develop and maintain applications using **C\# and .NET / .NET Core**. * Assist in developing and maintaining **RESTful Web APIs**. * Work with databases such as **SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or SQLite**. * Write efficient and maintainable code. Code Quality * Follow coding standards and software development best practices. * Apply basic **OOP concepts, SOLID principles, and design patterns**. * Participate in code reviews and improve code quality based on feedback. Team Collaboration * Work closely with **developers, QA, BA, and DevOps teams**. * Participate in Agile activities such as **daily stand\-ups, sprint planning, and reviews**. * Communicate effectively with team members regarding development tasks. Support \& Maintenance * Identify and troubleshoot application issues. * Assist in resolving bugs and production issues. * Perform testing and debugging as required. **Required Skills** * Bachelor's degree in **Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field**. * 0–2 years of experience in **.NET development**. * Basic to good knowledge of **C\# and .NET / .NET Core**. * Understanding of **Web API and REST concepts**. * Basic knowledge of **SQL and relational databases**. * Good understanding of **OOP concepts**. * Familiarity with **Git or other version control systems**. * Good analytical and problem\-solving skills. **Preferred Skills** * Basic knowledge of **ASP.NET**. * Familiarity with **Angular or any frontend framework** is a plus. * Basic understanding of **Docker and CI/CD** is an advantage. * Basic understanding of **microservices architecture** is a plus. * Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodology. **Soft Skills** * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. * Good analytical and problem\-solving abilities. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Positive and proactive approach to assigned tasks. Role Expectations * Work primarily as an **individual contributor** under the guidance of senior developers. * Develop a strong foundation in **.NET application development**. * Take ownership of assigned development and bug\-fixing tasks. * Continuously improve technical skills and knowledge. * Gradually take on greater technical responsibilities as experience grows.
