Technical Lead/ Product Engineer

About the Role

**We’re hiring: Product Engineering Lead \| GoPaisa** Over the last 10\+ years, GoPaisa has been built carefully as a profitable, founder\-led company designed to compound over decades. We're entering our next growth phase—scaling our payments platform toward **$1B\+ in annual transaction volume** across payments, rewards, and financial services. To lead this charge, we are hiring a hands\-on technical leader who will report directly to the founders. **The Role \& Focus** This is a **50% hands\-on engineering / 50% people leadership** role. You will architect critical systems, remain close to the code, and lead a high\-agency team. **Core Technology Stack \& Domain** * **Primary Backend Stack:** Node.js, distributed systems, reliable API design, and high\-throughput cloud infrastructure. * **Fintech \& Payments Infrastructure:** Transaction systems, reconciliation, settlements, exception handling, and external partner integrations. * **Databases \& Data Infrastructure:** Production database engineering, telemetry, reporting, and analytics data pipelines. * **Risk \& Security:** Real\-time transaction monitoring, anomaly detection, risk intelligence, and fraud prevention engines. * **AI\-Native Engineering:** Leveraging AI deeply across software development—coding assistants, automated testing, smart code reviews, log analysis, and incident response. **What We’re Looking For (Must\-Haves)** * **6–10 years** of software engineering experience with strong backend, platform, or distributed\-systems depth. * **Core Tech Stack:** Strong, current hands\-on development experience in **Node.js**. * **Fintech Experience (Must):** Proven background building and scaling fintech, payments, or high\-volume transactional platforms. * **Team Handling Experience (Must):** Demonstrated track record of directly managing, mentoring, and hiring engineers, conducting code reviews, and raising execution standards. * **AI\-First Mindset:** Passion for embedding AI into core engineering workflows to drive velocity and operating leverage. * **High Ownership:** Direct founder collaboration with the ambition to scale into broader engineering leadership. **Location:** **Noida** Pay: ₹1,200,000\.00 \- ₹3,000,000\.00 per year Benefits: * Flexible schedule * Leave encashment * Paid time off * Provident Fund * Work from home Work Location: In person
