**Ruby on Rails Developer** **Experience:** 0–1 Years **Job Type:** Full\-time **Eligibility:** Freshers can apply **Job Description** We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic **Ruby on Rails Developer** to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of Ruby on Rails and web development, along with a strong willingness to learn, contribute, and grow in a professional environment. This is an entry\-level opportunity suitable for candidates with **0–1 year of professional experience**. Freshers with relevant academic projects, internships, or hands\-on experience in Ruby on Rails are also encouraged to apply. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Ruby on Rails. * Assist in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications. * Collaborate with front\-end developers to build responsive and user\-friendly web interfaces. * Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and reusable code. * Assist in identifying and resolving application bugs and technical issues. * Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness. * Work with MVC architecture, databases, and RESTful APIs. * Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure application quality. * Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and best practices. * Work collaboratively in an Agile development environment, including sprint planning, stand\-ups, and retrospectives. * Stay updated with relevant technologies, tools, and best practices in web development. **Required Skills \& Qualifications** * 0–1 year of experience in software development. * Freshers are welcome to apply. * Basic to intermediate understanding of Ruby and Ruby on Rails. * Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. * Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. * Understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful API concepts. * Familiarity with Git and version control systems. * Basic understanding of debugging and software testing. * Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills. * Good communication and collaboration skills. * Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. **Preferred Skills** * Experience with Ruby on Rails through academic projects, internships, or personal projects. * Basic knowledge of React or other JavaScript frameworks. * Familiarity with AWS, Heroku, or other cloud platforms. * Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts. * Familiarity with Docker and containerization. * Knowledge of TDD (Test\-Driven Development) is a plus. **How to Apply:** Interested candidates can share their resume at **careers@sobonix.com**.
