This hands-on role requires as much creative judgment as it does craft—we’re looking for someone who can evaluate whether an idea is worth making, hold a through-line across a campaign or platform moment, and push the work from well-executed to genuinely compelling. You'll direct creatives across multiple touchpoints, bring curiosity about how emerging tools and AI can improve the way the team works, and build the systems, culture, and talent that keep work moving efficiently from brief to delivery.</p> <p><strong>You Will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead end-to-end concept development with a strong point of view on creative strategy, storytelling, and brand expression across digital and on-platform content</li> <li>Drive projects through the full production lifecycle — from concepting and art direction through delivery</li> <li>Experiment with and integrate AI tools to accelerate ideation, streamline production, and open up new ways of working without sacrificing craft</li> <li>Build and scale creative workflows, review cadences, and operational systems that allow the team to move quickly</li> <li>Mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team including art directors, copywriters, and designers</li> <li>Ensure all deliverables meet partner expectations on timelines and budgets, proactively flagging and resolving blockers</li> <li>Facilitate project-related team meetings (kick-offs, reviews, retrospectives) and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional partners across marketing, product, and business teams to ensure work is strategically grounded and on-brand</li> </ul> <p><strong>You Have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>12+ years of experience in creative roles, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or management capacity at an in-house studio, agency, or production company</li> <li>A portfolio that demonstrates range, narrative depth, and strong creative judgment across digital and traditional formats</li> <li>Genuine curiosity about AI and emerging creative tools, with hands-on experience using them to improve ideation and production workflows</li> <li>A strong visual and art direction background, including hands-on experience in animation, 3D asset generation, and high-fidelity key art and renders</li> <li>Proven experience building and scaling creative workflows and operational systems</li> <li>Deep fluency across creative tools, including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D software, and presentation tools</li> <li>Strong stakeholder management skills — you're comfortable presenting creative rationale, navigating feedback, and advocating for your team's point of view</li> <li>A sharp eye for craft and a collaborative, iterative mindset</li> </ul> <p><br><br></p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
