Learn more at : https://www.airveda.com Location: Sahibabad (Ghaziabad)\-Border of Delhi/UP **Job Summary:** As a Hardware Engineer specializing in Testing and Quality Control, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our IOT devices. You will be responsible for designing and implementing testing procedures, conducting quality assessments, and collaborating with cross\-functional teams to meet quality standards. Your efforts will contribute to the delivery of high\-quality hardware products to our customers**.** You will be working with hardware, Mobile Apps and Web Dashboards, all designed and developed by us. **Key Responsibilities:** ●Diagnosing issues with hardware devices manufactured by us. ●Testing hardware devices with mobile apps designed and developed by us. ●Ensuring data integrity of data on our dashboards developed and maintained on our servers ●Identifying issues with existing products or designs and suggesting improvements ●Testing prototype designs to ensure they meet specifications and identifying potential issues before they reach production ●Conducting performance tests on new hardware to ensure it meets requirements ●Evaluating new technologies or materials to determine if they meet performance standards ●Coordinating with other engineers and designers to ensure that designs meet specifications ●Designing and creating prototypes of new products to test new design concepts ●Analyzing test results to identify problems with a device’s design or functionality ●Reporting test results to management for further development. **Roles:** ●Test Plan Development: Collaborate with product development teams to create comprehensive test plans for new hardware products and Define test objectives, criteria, and methodologies to ensure product quality. ●Test Equipment Selection: Identify and select appropriate testing equipment and tools required for various hardware testing procedures and Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate results. ●Test Execution: Perform hardware testing, including functional, performance, stress, and compatibility tests and Record and analyze test results, documenting any defects or anomalies. ●Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements and Conduct inspections and audits to verify adherence to quality standards. ●Defect Identification and Resolution: Collaborate with design and development teams to identify and resolve hardware defects and issues and Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning. ●Documentation: Maintain detailed records of test procedures, results, and quality control activities and Generate reports summarizing test outcomes and quality metrics. ●Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in hardware testing and quality control and Suggest and implement enhancements to improve product quality and efficiency. ●Compliance and Standards: Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and certifications relevant to hardware quality and Ensure products comply with relevant standards and obtain necessary certifications. ●Cross\-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware designers, engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of quality control processes and Provide support during the development lifecycle to prevent and address quality issues. **Qualifications:** ●Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering. ●Previous experience in hardware testing and quality control, ideally in a similar role. ●Proficiency in using various testing equipment and tools. ●Strong problem\-solving skills and attention to detail. ●Knowledge of industry standards and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001\). ●Familiarity with hardware design and manufacturing processes. ●Excellent communication and teamwork skills. ●Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. **Additional Skills (a plus):** ●Familiarity with ESP32 microcontroller.
