About the Role

1\. Provide first\-line support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, peripherals and routine operating\-system or application issues. 2\. Install and configure approved hardware and software, and record changes and asset details accurately. 3\. Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi\-Fi, internet, email and Office 365 user issues, and escalate problems beyond the assigned support level. 4\. Perform basic Linux and Windows Server checks and routine support tasks under the System Administrator's guidance and approved access. 5\. Review TTs raised in the IT support portal, acknowledge assigned issues, assess impact and keep work progress and dependencies updated. 6\. Work to the applicable response and resolution SLA; escalate potential breaches early with troubleshooting evidence and the assistance required. 7\. Confirm resolution with the user, document the solution and close tickets through the approved process rather than leaving completed work unrecorded. 8\. Provide remote support to branch users and assist with approved CCTV, biometric attendance and other peripheral\-device issues. 9\. Assist with user onboarding, account setup and asset allocation or return only after the necessary approvals. 10\. Maintain IT inventory, allocation, repair, warranty and consumable records, and coordinate routine vendor follow\-ups. 11\. Check assigned antivirus, update and backup\-status reports; report failures and avoid unauthorised changes to production systems. 12\. Support commonly used applications such as Tally, HRMS and CRM at L1, maintain support documentation and hand over unresolved issues clearly.
