**Graphic Designer Job Description** **Job Summary** We are seeking a creative and detail\-oriented **Graphic Designer** to join our growing team. In this role, you will use your knowledge of typography, layout, color theory, and image manipulation to create visually compelling designs that communicate our brand’s message across both print and digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with marketing, copywriting, and product teams to translate conceptual ideas into high\-quality visual assets from start to finish. **Key Responsibilities** * **Conceptualise Visuals:** Plan and illustrate concepts by studying project briefs, determining requirements, and scheduling project timelines. * **Brand Consistency:** Create and enforce brand design guidelines to ensure a cohesive look and feel across all company assets and media channels. * **Asset Creation:** Design a wide variety of materials including social media creatives, website layouts, digital advertisements, emails, infographics, presentations, and product packaging. * **Team Collaboration:** Partner with cross\-functional teams, including copywriters, creative directors, and web developers, to deliver impactful campaigns. * **Iterate \& Refine:** Present rough drafts and design mockups to stakeholders, actively incorporating constructive feedback to finalize layouts. * **Production Management:** Review final layouts for accuracy and quality, and liaise with external production vendors or printers when necessary. * **Trend Research:** Stay up\-to\-date on emerging industry trends, design tools, and software to keep our visual brand innovative and modern. **Job Requirements \& Qualifications** **Technical Skills \& Core Expertise** * **Software Proficiency:** Advanced mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite applications, specifically **Photoshop**, **Illustrator**, and **InDesign**. * **Design Principles:** Strong foundations in **typography, color theory, visual hierarchy**, and grid layouts. * **Multi\-Format Adaptation:** Proven capability to format and optimize files seamlessly for both digital displays and commercial print production. **Experience \& Education** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in **Graphic Design, Fine Arts**, or a related creative discipline (or equivalent proven experience). * **Experience:** 2–5 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within an agency or in\-house marketing team. * **Portfolio:** A **strong, diverse professional portfolio** showcasing aesthetic awareness, clean design execution, and problem\-solving capabilities. **Workplace Skills (Soft Skills)** * **Time Management:** Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, balance competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines. * **Communication:** Clear verbal and written communication skills to articulate design rationale and present concepts effectively. * **Receptiveness:** A collaborative mindset with a positive approach to receiving structural feedback and design edits.
