Ltd. **Job Type:** Part\-time / Independent Consultant **Work Arrangement:** Kochi Office or Remote **Experience:** 3\+ years Job Description Zamorins Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced **QA Automation Tester** with hands\-on experience in **software testing, automation testing, manual testing, web application testing, and mobile application testing**. This is an **independent consulting opportunity on an hourly basis** and is not a full\-time or permanent employment position. The consultant can work either from our **Kochi office or remotely**, depending on project requirements and mutual agreement. The role will involve testing web and mobile applications, developing and executing automated test scripts, identifying defects, and working with the development team to ensure application quality. Key Responsibilities * Perform **manual and automated testing** of web and mobile applications. * Develop, execute, and maintain **automated test scripts**. * Perform **functional, regression, integration and system testing**. * Test mobile applications on both **Android and iOS** platforms. * Perform **web application testing** across relevant browsers and environments. * Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts. * Identify, document, and track software defects using **JIRA or similar defect\-tracking tools**. * Perform **API testing** using Postman or similar tools. * Perform database validation using **SQL queries** where required. * Reproduce reported defects and verify fixes provided by developers. * Maintain and improve existing **test automation frameworks and scripts**. * Provide clear testing reports, defect details and feedback on test results. * Work independently while coordinating with developers and other team members. Required Skills and Qualifications * Minimum **3 years of hands\-on experience in Software QA / Software Testing**. * Strong experience in **Automation Testing and Manual Testing**. * Hands\-on experience with automation tools such as **Selenium, Appium, TestNG or similar**. * Experience in **Web Application Testing**. * Experience in **Mobile Application Testing** on Android and iOS. * Experience with **API Testing** using Postman or similar tools. * Working knowledge of **SQL and database validation**. * Experience using **JIRA or similar defect tracking tools**. * Good understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes. * Good analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and manage assigned testing activities. Preferred Skills * Experience in developing or maintaining **test automation frameworks**. * Experience with **JMeter or other performance testing tools**. * Knowledge of **Agile/Scrum methodologies**. * ISTQB certification is an advantage. * Experience with CI/CD\-based test automation is an advantage. Consultant Engagement * **Independent Consultant – not an employee.** * **Hourly consulting engagement only.** * No fixed full\-time working hours. * Testing assignments will be provided based on project requirements. * The number of hours may vary depending on the testing workload. * Work can be performed remotely or from our Kochi office. * Payment will be based on actual approved hours worked. * ***Candidates should mention their expected hourly consulting rate when applying.*** Who Should Apply?
