We named a Leader in the Everest Group Private Equity (PE) Services PEAK Matrix*®* Assessment 2026 and Software Product Engineering PEAK Matrix*®* Assessment 2026\. **About Position:** We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer who can Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium and Python. * **Role: Python Automation Engineer** * **Location: All Persistent Locations** * **Experience: 5 to 10 Years** * **Job Type: Full\-Time Employment** **What You'll Do:** * Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium and Python. * Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end\-to\-end testing. * Create and maintain Playwright\-based automation solutions for web applications. * Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines. * Collaborate with developers, QA teams, product owners, and business analysts to define test strategies. * Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis. * Improve automation coverage, framework reusability, and framework efficiency. * Support release validation, smoke testing, regression testing, and production verification activities. * Create and maintain automation documentation, test plans, and execution reports. * Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand\-ups, retrospectives, and backlog reviews. **Expertise You'll Bring:** * 5 to 8 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation. * Strong hands\-on experience in Selenium Automation Framework development. * Excellent programming skills in Python. * Mandatory hands\-on experience with Playwright. * Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, and End\-to\-End Testing. * Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines. * Knowledge of API Testing and Automation. * Experience with defect tracking and test management tools. * Familiarity with Git and version control systems. * Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. * Strong debugging, analytical, and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Ability to work effectively with cross\-functional teams. **Benefits:** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Culture focused on talent development with quarterly growth opportunities and company\-sponsored higher education and certifications * Opportunity to work with cutting\-edge technologies * Employee engagement initiatives such as project parties, flexible work hours, and Long Service awards * Annual health check\-ups * Insurance coverage: group term life, personal accident, and Mediclaim hospitalization for self, spouse, two children, and parents **Values\-Driven, People\-Centric \& Inclusive Work Environment:** Persistent is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
