Full Stack AI Developer **Location:** BKC, Mumbai **Job Type:** Full\-Time **Work Mode:** On\-site **Experience:** 2–5 years preferred About the Role We are looking for a highly capable **Full Stack AI Developer** to work directly with the founder on building a suite of AI\-powered products for both personal and business use. This is not a typical website\-development role. You will be building real AI applications from the ground up, including: * **Joi** – an AI\-powered personal assistant with voice interaction, long\-term memory, intelligent conversations, reminders, scheduling, and eventually the ability to perform actions on behalf of the user. * **AI Office Assistant / Business Operating System** – an internal AI system designed to help manage day\-to\-day business operations such as emails, inventory, employee workflows, reporting, follow\-ups, data analysis, task management, document processing, and automation. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across **frontend, backend, databases, APIs, AI models and automation systems**. You should enjoy building quickly, experimenting with new AI technologies, solving problems independently and turning ideas into working products. Key Responsibilities * Build and maintain full\-stack AI\-powered web and mobile applications. * Develop frontend interfaces using technologies such as **React, Next.js, React Native / Expo and TypeScript**. * Develop scalable backend APIs using **Node.js / Express / Python**. * Integrate AI models and APIs such as **OpenAI GPT, speech\-to\-text, text\-to\-speech and multimodal AI models**. * Build AI assistants capable of understanding user intent and performing actions. * Develop short\-term and long\-term AI memory systems. * Build AI agent workflows that can use tools, APIs and external applications. * Integrate email, calendars, databases, business software and third\-party APIs. * Build automation for repetitive office processes. * Develop dashboards for internal business operations. * Work with databases such as **PostgreSQL / Supabase**. * Implement authentication, permissions and secure data handling. * Work with vector databases, embeddings and semantic search where required. * Build systems for document understanding and retrieval. * Develop voice\-based AI interaction including transcription and speech generation. * Debug, test, deploy and monitor production applications. * Deploy applications using platforms such as **Render, Vercel, AWS or similar cloud infrastructure**. * Research and test new AI models, APIs and frameworks. * Work directly with the founder to turn ideas into working prototypes quickly. * Continuously improve existing AI systems based on real\-world usage. Technical Skills We Are Looking For Strong knowledge of: * JavaScript / TypeScript * React * Next.js * Node.js * Express * REST APIs * PostgreSQL * Supabase or Firebase * Git / GitHub * API integrations * Cloud deployment Experience with some of the following is highly preferred: * OpenAI API * LLM applications * AI Agents * Function / Tool Calling * Prompt Engineering * RAG / Retrieval\-Augmented Generation * Embeddings * Vector Databases * Speech\-to\-Text * Text\-to\-Speech * React Native / Expo * Python * Webhooks * Google APIs * Email and Calendar integrations * Workflow automation * Background jobs / queues What Matters More Than Degrees We care much more about **what you can build** than which college you attended. A strong candidate should be able to show us projects where they have: * Built a complete product independently. * Integrated APIs. * Worked with AI/LLMs. * Designed databases and backend systems. * Built good user interfaces. * Deployed applications to production. * Solved difficult technical problems without requiring constant supervision. Personal AI projects, startup projects and serious side projects are absolutely welcome. Who Will Do Well in This Role You will be a strong fit if you are someone who: * Is genuinely obsessed with AI and emerging technology. * Experiments with new AI tools regularly. * Can take an idea and figure out how to build it. * Is comfortable working independently. * Learns new technologies quickly. * Does not need every feature explained through detailed technical specifications. * Thinks about the entire product rather than only writing code. * Can move quickly from prototype → testing → production. * Is comfortable working directly with the founder. * Enjoys solving unusual problems where the solution may not already exist. Example Projects You May Work On You may be asked to build systems such as: **Personal AI Assistant** Voice → Speech Recognition → AI Reasoning → Memory → Action → Voice Response The assistant should eventually be capable of remembering information, understanding context, managing tasks, scheduling appointments and interacting with external applications. **AI Office Assistant** An AI system that can help: * Read and organize business information. * Analyze inventory and sales. * Generate reports. * Follow up on pending tasks. * Search company documents. * Assist employees. * Draft and manage communications. * Identify operational problems. * Automate repetitive office work. * Connect information across different company systems. The long\-term goal is to create an **AI\-powered operating layer for the company**, rather than simply another chatbot.
