***Kindly share your cv at 9310404166*** **Job Description: Software Tester** **Job Title: Software Tester / QA Engineer** **Experience: 2 years** **Employment Type: Full\-time** **Location: West Delhi,New Delhi** **Department: Quality Assurance** **Reporting To: QA Lead / Engineering Manager** **Job Summary** We are looking for a detail\-oriented Software Tester with around 2 years of experience in manual and/or automation testing. The candidate will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, identifying defects, preparing test cases, and ensuring that software products meet business and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle, defect\-management tools, Agile methodology, and collaboration with development and product teams. **Key Responsibilities** Understand business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Prepare test scenarios, test cases, checklists, and test data. Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and exploratory testing. Test web applications across different browsers and devices. Conduct mobile application testing on Android and/or iOS devices. Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. Clearly communicate bugs with proper steps to reproduce, screenshots, logs, and severity details. Re\-test fixed defects and perform regression testing before product releases. Collaborate with developers, product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders. Participate in requirement discussions, sprint planning, daily stand\-ups, and sprint reviews. Verify that developed features meet functional and usability requirements. Support release testing and provide test execution reports. Contribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, and product quality. Create and maintain basic automation scripts, if automation testing is part of the project. **Required Skills** Approximately 2 years of experience as a Software Tester, QA Tester, Quality Analyst, or Test Engineer. Good understanding of SDLC and STLC. Hands\-on experience in manual testing. Knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and compatibility testing. Experience in writing test cases and test scenarios. Experience with defect\-reporting tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps. Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools. Basic SQL knowledge for database validation. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology. Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem\-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills. **Preferred Skills** Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or another automation tool. Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Experience with API automation or performance\-testing tools. Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools. ISTQB certification will be an added advantage. Experience testing e\-commerce, education, SaaS, or mobile applications. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant testing certifications or practical project experience will be considered. **Key Performance Indicators** Test cases completed within the planned timelines. Effective identification and reporting of software defects. Reduction in escaped defects after release. Test coverage across required features and platforms. Timely verification of bug fixes.
