We are looking for a \*\*QA Engineer with 1\+ year of experience\*\* who can help us maintain high\-quality web and mobile applications and ensure a smooth booking experience for our customers. \#\# Role Overview As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for testing Globinn's \*\*web and mobile applications\*\*, identifying defects, validating new features, performing regression testing, and ensuring that releases meet our quality standards. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members throughout the development and release cycle. \#\# Key Responsibilities \* Understand product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. \* Create and execute \*\*test cases, test scenarios, and test checklists\*\*. \* Perform \*\*functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing\*\*. \* Test web applications across different browsers and screen sizes. \* Test mobile applications on \*\*Android and iOS\*\* devices/emulators. \* Test complete travel booking flows including: \* Hotel search and booking \* Flight search and booking \* Holiday package search and booking \* Guest/passenger management \* Payment and checkout \* Booking confirmation \* Cancellation and refund flows \* Perform \*\*API testing\*\* and validate request/response data. \* Verify data consistency between frontend, APIs, and backend systems. \* Identify, reproduce, document, and track bugs with clear steps and evidence. \* Perform \*\*regression testing\*\* after bug fixes and new releases. \* Validate UI against designs and identify usability or visual issues. \* Test different edge cases, validation rules, error states, and failure scenarios. \* Collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve defects. \* Participate in release testing and provide QA status/feedback. \* Maintain test documentation and regression test suites. \* Help improve the overall QA process and testing practices. Required Skills \* \*\*1\+ year of experience in Software Testing / QA.\*\* \* Good understanding of \*\*Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)\*\* and \*\*Bug Life Cycle\*\*. \* Experience writing and executing test cases. \* Strong understanding of functional and regression testing. \* Experience testing \*\*web and mobile applications\*\*. \* Basic to good knowledge of \*\*API testing\*\*. \* Familiarity with tools such as \*\*Postman\*\*. \* Basic understanding of \*\*REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON\*\*, etc. \* Experience with bug\-tracking/project\-management tools such as \*\*Jira\*\*. \* Good understanding of browser developer tools. \* Basic knowledge of \*\*SQL/database testing\*\* is preferred. \* Good analytical and problem\-solving skills. \* Strong attention to detail. \#\# Good to Have \* Experience testing \*\*travel, hotel, flight, OTA, e\-commerce, or booking platforms\*\*. \* Knowledge of payment gateway testing. \* Experience testing third\-party API integrations. \* Familiarity with automation testing tools such as \*\*Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, or Detox\*\*. \* Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript. \* Experience with Android Studio or Xcode for mobile testing. \* Understanding of CI/CD and release pipelines. \#\# What We Expect \* Ability to think from an end user's perspective. \* Strong attention to detail and ownership of assigned features. \* Ability to identify edge cases rather than testing only the happy path. \* Clear communication with developers and product teams. \* Ability to work independently as well as within a development team. \* Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and testing methodologies.
