About the Role

**Job Description** **Title : Python Automation Developer** **Experience Level** : 1–3 years **Engagement Type**: Full\-time **Location**: On\-site \- Thanjavur **About the Role** We need a developer to build and maintain an automated reporting pipeline that: 1\. Logs into an internal/external web portal and downloads Excel reports on a schedule 2\. Cleans and processes the data using Python 3\. Generates a dashboard/visual summary from the data 4\. Sends the dashboard automatically to designated personnel via WhatsApp This is a well\-defined automation project — ideal for someone who has built similar unattended, scheduled scripts before, rather than a broad software engineering role. **Required Skills** * **Python:** Strong working knowledge of pandas for data cleaning and transformation * **Browser automation:** Hands\-on experience with Playwright or Selenium (either acceptable) for automating logins and file downloads * **API integration:** Experience working with any REST API using auth tokens/keys (e.g., Twilio, Slack, payment gateways) — will be applied to the WhatsApp Business API * **Excel data handling:** Comfortable dealing with real\-world exports: merged cells, inconsistent headers, blank rows * **Scheduling \& deployment:** Experience deploying a script to run unattended on a schedule (cron, Windows Task Scheduler), including basic error handling and retry logic **Deliverables Expected** * A working Python script/pipeline covering all four stages (login/download → data processing → dashboard generation → WhatsApp send) * Documentation on how to configure credentials, recipients, and the report schedule * Basic error handling so the pipeline doesn't fail silently if a step breaks **Budget / Compensation** \[salary is negotiable] **How to Apply** Interested candidates can send their updated resume to: **Contact:** \+91 79045 35094 **Email:** hr.exe@spamotors.in Location : Thanjavur TVS No.64, Arulanandha Nagar East Extn,Pudukottai Road, Thanjavur – 613 007 Benefits: * Health insurance * Paid time off * Provident Fund Work Location: In person
