Desktop Support Engineer

About the Role

* Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals. * Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues. * Install and configure Windows operating systems and business applications. * Troubleshoot LAN, Wi\-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity issues. * Configure Outlook, Microsoft Office, printers, scanners, and other office applications. * Install antivirus software and ensure endpoint security compliance. * Perform system upgrades, software updates, and regular maintenance. * Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions. * Provide remote and on\-site technical support to employees. * Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation. * Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty claims. * Perform data backup and recovery when required. * Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
